New Single And Album On The Way From 1D

After the huge worldwide success of their debut album, Up All Night, teen boyband One Direction are now poised to release the follow-up. They have announced that their new LP will be entitled Take Me Home and will be released on Nov. 12, 2012. The boys posted the album sleeve on their official websites yesterday, showing them getting up to mischief around a distinctive British red phone box.
Take Me Home will be preceded by a single called "Live While We're Young," which will be premiered on radio stations around the world on Monday Sept. 24. Although they haven't heard it yet, One Direction fans have nonetheless been pre-ordering the single in their droves and have made it the fastest-selling pre-order single in history. The song has the same writers as their No. 1 hit "What Makes You Beautiful," Savan Kotecha, Rami Yacoub and Carl Falk.
While Directioners still have a few weeks to wait until they get their first taste of the new music, band member Niall Horan gave an indication as to what we can expect during a recent interview: "It's really fun, very heavy on guitars and drums, so we're super excited about it." Horan has also said that One Direction are planning to release a new album each year for the foreseeable future so teenage girls around the world can start pre-planning their Christmas lists in advance!
