Teenage Kicks
Liquid Image underwater digital camera mask
This will keep any teenager happy on holiday and is such a cool piece of equipment you may be fighting over it yourself. For anyone aged 13 and above, this enables you to shoot images underwater while keeping your hands free. Shooting both digital photographs and video, the mask has 16 MB of built-in memory and runs on AAA batteries, so it’s extremely easy to set up and use. The goggle lenses are made of tempered glass and even have integrated crosshairs, so shots can easily be lined up, despite being underwater. If your teenager is a diver, this works to a depth of 20 meters.
iCooly Iphone clip case and stand
Available on Amazon, this is a great little gadget that makes your haphazard teenager less likely to lose their phone (and you less likely to replace it). The clip means the phone can be attached to a bag or belt (and also acts as a cover for the back of the phone) while the stand makes chatting, accessing Facetime or watching video easier, as the phone doesn’t need to be held.
A kindle
Though Kindles have had immense coverage, they are still considered excellent gadgets for all ages, especially teenagers, who have a large amount of reading to do. They make buying books reasonable and reading them quick and easy. Kindle’s are lightweight, so they won’t weigh rucksacks down even further and they reflect light so reading outdoors is a doddle. Each edition just gets better and better.
A USB Key Chain
Available from a variety of manufacturers, a USB on a key chain means your teenager can transport photographs , movies, music, even homework on a portable USB flash drive. If attached to a key chain surely they are less likely to lose it, right? You can find these types of key chains from almost any computer store, as well as online at retailers like Amazon and many others.
